The official County Seat is Toms River which is located in the municipality of
Toms River Township. Most, but not all, of the County Offices are near the intersection of
Washingtion Street and Hooper Avenue, one block north of the Toms River.
To confirm a specific location, call the agency first.

From the Garden State Parkway exits to the County Complex, it is less than 2 miles
and usually a 5 to 10 minute drive time, depending on traffic conditions.

From the North on the Garden State Parkway:
|
 Garden State Parkway South to Exit 82 (Route 37 East).
Go through 1st traffic light (intersection with Route 166).
Turn right onto Route 549 (Hooper Avenue South).
Turn left at 2nd traffic light (Madison Avenue).
The County Complex garage is the 5-level building on the right.

From the South on the Garden State Parkway:

Garden State Parkway North to Exit 81 (Lakehurst Road/Toms River - Lakehurst).
Proceed straight on water Street.
Turn left at 3rd traffic light (Route 549 - Hooper Avenue North).
Proceed through the next traffic light (intersection with Washington Street).
Turn right into the 1st One-Way Entrance Driveway just past the
County Administration building at 101 Hooper Avenue.
After Stop Sign, turn left to enter County Parking Lot.

Parking in the County Garage is free. The pedestrian Skywalk across Hooper Avenue connects
the 3rd level of the garage with the 2nd floor of the Justice Complex. It is barrier free.
